With over 27 years of experience photographing children and families all over the world, I specialise in natural light and connection-driven portraits that feel warm, genuine, and joyful. As a former kindergarten & Pre-school teaching aide and Learn to Swim instructor, I truly understand how to connect with children, and have a conscious understanding of how to get the best imagery out of little Kindergarteners and Pre-schoolers in a short space of time.

We believe school photography should be relaxed, candid, fun and reflective of who children really are. Our sessions are playful, pressure-free and designed to help each child’s natural light shine through.

HOW IT WORKS -

BEFORE THE SHOOT :

  • Information sent to parents a few days in advance

  • Class rosters are collected and scheduling is finalised

  • Everything is organised to your school’s daily rhythm with limited classroom disruption

ON THE DAY OF THE SHOOT :

  • The studio area is set-up with background, lighting and props

  • Each child photographed within approx. 5 minutes

  • Images are produced with a calm, conscious and kid-friendly approach

AFTER THE SHOOT :

  • 7-10 days after the session a private, password-protected gallery will be shared for each child

  • Parents choose their favourite images online

  • We handle all orders in an all-in-one digital platform with proofing, galleries, premium print options and instant downloads

  • Zero admin for your staff

During Portrait Sessions

I work closely with centre staff to ensure every session is calm, safe and supportive. 

  • Remain within sight of centre staff at all times.

  • Use professional photography equipment only—never personal devices or phones.

  • Photograph children gently and respectfully, without pressure or force.

  • Never enter private areas or assist with nappy or clothing changes.

  • Photograph only in centre-approved areas, such as designated rooms or outdoor play spaces.

  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

  • Communicate with children in a gentle, positive and age-appropriate manner, helping them feel comfortable and confident.

Consent & Group Shots

  • Parental or guardian consent is required before a child can be photographed.

  • A Consent Form must be completed prior to photo day.

  • Children without consent will be excluded from all photography, including group photographs.

  • Group photographs may include the first names of consenting children and educators.

  • Group images may be displayed within the centre and made available for purchase to families of children included in the photograph.

Privacy & Image Security

We take the privacy and security of children’s images seriously.

  • Images are stored securely on password-protected devices and encrypted cloud storage.

  • Families receive a private access code to view and download their purchased digital images.

  • Access is restricted so families can only view and download their own child’s images.

  • Children’s names or images are never shared publicly without written consent.
